The sun shines down on the road, ready for our group to walk on it. I can hear laughter in the background as we start our walk. Hiking trips in Sweden can be a lot of fun, and they’re a great way to meet new people who like the same things you do. When you travel by yourself a lot, like I do, you might feel lonely. But I’ve discovered that when I go on a hike tour or any other outdoorsy tour, I make friends for life! Of course, you get to enjoy nature with people who share your interests. The best thing about tours is that the guide tells you more about the place. As a person who is always curious, this makes me happy. With some of the trips, you can learn more about Swedish culture and scenery. It makes me excited just to think about it! Read on to find out more about Sweden Hiking Tours here! Outdoor Activities in Stockholm

When you go out and about in Stockholm, you can ride your bike. The walk lasts about three hours and takes you to the city’s most interesting spots. You could also take an up to 8-hour kayak tour of Stockholm and see the city from the water. Take the full-day Archipelago sailboat tour if you have a lot of free time. Things look better from the water sometimes! An archipelago is a group of islands. I didn’t know that for a long time, so I thought I’d let you know if you didn’t already! Check out GetYourGuide to learn about all the tours offered in Stockholm. Check it out here!

Stockholm

Tiveden National Park

You can even eat a Swedish Midsummer meal on the wild safari offered, this walk through the woods will take four hours. My favorite trips are climbing tours in Sweden. Going outside to nature is a great way to clear your mind and forget about all the problems in the world. Check out outdoor activities in Stockholm to go on hikes, biking, or kayaking tours!

Multiday trips in Sweden

If you want to spend a lot of time in Sweden, you should take one of the trips that last more than one day. Outside of Stockholm, there is a full-day trip with kayaks that lets you see the archipelago. You can see it from a different angle in a boat than from the ground. It comes with lunch and a cab ride to the starting point. If you’re interested in Viking history, the half-day tour from Stockholm is perfect for you! As you hike through the beautiful Swedish land on this tour, you’ll learn more about how the Vikings changed history and see old runes. Start your history tour in Stockholm and end it at Markim-Orkestra. The tour lasts about five hours. The tour guide can tell you more about the Bronze Age, the Viking Age, and Viking history. The ride is free, but food is not. You will stop at Farm diner.. Check it out here!

Stockholm, Sweden

These are multiday trips on a sailboat, kayaks, snow excursions, and hiking trips. Take in the wonderful history of Sweden and its nature with these wonderful places.

Kiruna Adventure Tours

Do not miss the chance to go sledding if you are going to the north of Sweden. Riding fast on snowmobiles is part of a 5-hour tour in Kiruna. Do not worry, it is designed for first-timers! Learn more here! A dog sledding trip is also possible in Kiruna. When I did that for the first time with my friend’s sliding dogs, it made my heart beat so fast. The dogs are so happy and thrilled. When they’re on the sled and ready to go, it looks like nothing can stop them. But, be tired. There are some dog sledding tours where the dogs are used badly. Before you choose a tour, find out more about it! Click here to learn more! You can take great trips to get to the top of Kebnekaise! This is Sweden’s tallest rock. Check out Kebnekaise Hike to learn more about the trails and to prepare for it. Check it out here!

Sweden Hiking Tours

Finally, my favorite: climbing tours in Sweden! Spend two days with a tour guide in the nature around the edges of Stockholm. You won’t want to miss the outdoors. You’ll be able to sleep in a tent next to a beautiful lake at the end of the first day. Wow, what a nice place to wake up! As the sun sets over you and your tent, it brings life to the area. As you go on this walk, the guide will teach you how to build a fire and tell you more about the land around you. There are meals and pick-up and drop-off services in Stockholm Central. Or, take a day hike on a different trail outside of Stockholm. Cook your lunch over a fire while you enjoy the beauty of nature! Check it out here!

Tour in Västerås

The two-day tour that includes everything is also available in Vasterås. Explore the beautiful Bergslagen forest on foot. As your tour guide leads the way, you can walk through fields and by lakes. Parts of the 250 km (155 mi) long Bergsleden hiking trail will be covered on this walk. There is food, a compass, a plan, transportation to the starting place of the hike, and overnight accommodation. We recommend this walk if you’re going with your family. See Gnesta outside of Stockholm

This is the long hike you should take if you have time to go somewhere outside of Stockholm. This easy two-day hike is in Gnesta. You’ll notice how quiet it is as you walk through the woods. Nearly two-thirds of Sweden’s land is forest or wild. You can picture walking into it. It makes you feel welcome, and it’s a great place to get away from your busy life. Meals and transportation are included on this hike.

View at Skutberget

Not too far away from Stockholm are the forests. On this full day hike, you get to venture in that nature. With this hike, delicious food is included, plus you have a chance to jump in the lake and enjoy the clear water. They offer a summer hike and a winter hike depending on the season.

This hiking tour starts at True Nature Sweden AB, go to the link to find out more.

Kiruna Hiking Tours

Abisko National Park is a beautiful place to visit. You can go on a 6-hour beginning hike tour with a local to see this area, which is close to Kiruna. Explore the Alpine wildness of Lapland. There is lunch on the bus ride from Kiruna to the National Park.

You don’t want to miss this, so check it out!

Near Kiruna, there are other Sweden Hiking tours. You can also go to Kebnekaise Valley from another one. The tour is for first-timers and lasts for six hours. Kebnekaise is the tallest mountain in Sweden, so you have to see it for yourself. As part of the hike, you’ll be able to walk to Lake Ladjojaure and enjoy a nice lunch served by the park. There is also a bus ride from Kiruna to Nikkaluokta, where the trip begins. Enjoy the beauty of nature on this walk!
