Experience the Beauty of Norway’s Fjords

Beautiful fjords are one of the best things about Norway. The sight of these long, narrow waterways bordered by steep cliffs is truly amazing. There are more than a thousand lakes in the country, so you can go on adventures and explore. The first time my husband and I went to Norway, we were amazed by how beautiful the fjords are. When you look up at the tall mountains, you feel so small.

The Sognefjord is one of Norway’s most famous and largest fjords. It’s over 200 km (124.3 mi) long and has beautiful waterfalls and cute towns all along its edge. It’s also known as “The King of the Fjords” because it’s the deepest. This beautiful fjord is in Vestland county and you have to see it!
