My family and I love going on adventures through the winding paths and checking out the old buildings and parks for kids. In 1890, the famous landscape architect Conrad Pineus planned and built Stadsparken Arvika. The park has a long and interesting past. As you walk along the paths, you’ll see some old buildings that have been well taken care of over the years. As my little one fell asleep in the stroller as we walked down the street, I felt like we had been moved back in time. The little house next to us was made of wood and had a grassy roof. There was a wooden ladder leading to the door. It made me think of things just by looking at it. What was it like to live in that back then? Would they grow plants on top of the roof?

I, on the other hand, don’t like cold water very much.

Enjoy your drinks and snacks while taking in the natural beauty of the park with your friends while you fika.
Is it Family Friendly?
Stadsparken Arvika is a great place for families because it has lots of open areas where kids can play and discover. It is certain that the kids will have a great time in this beautiful park because the playgrounds have a lot of different play structures. My son loved that there were so many places for him to pick from. There is even a small obstacle course for kids! When kids jump on some plastic circles that move air through them, they make noise. This is another fun place. That looks like a hit!
